Nissan has unveiled a racing version of the GT-R Nismo its internal tuner at the Tokyo Auto Salon called the GT-R RC (Racing competition).

Nismo GT-R has refined established to monitor the performance improved with air suspension compliance, the use of lightweight parts and equipment GT-R with racing safety law. These include the FIA rollbar-qualifying welded, air inlets and 120 liters of fuel tank safety ATL.The Nissan GT-R,
but no longer carries the "Skyline" badge, has heritage in Nissan Skyline GT-R. Like the R32 Skyline GT-R R34 Nissan GT-R wheels with a twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine, but the evolutionary, incremental changes between Skyline models R32 through R34 have been removed. The four-wheel steering system HICAS has been deleted, and the former right-6 RB26DETT engine has been replaced by a new V6 VR38DETT. [8] Because the code of the GT-R's legacy chassis for the new version has been called CBA-R35, [9] or "R35" for short (where ABC is the prefix for the emission standard ), making the naming trend from previous generations of Skyline GT-R.

GT-R has also retained its Skyline predecessor nickname Godzilla. [10] [11]

Two prototypes were displayed at auto shows before he discovered the production model. The first concept was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2001 to preview the GT-R 21 st century should be similar.
