The Peugeot 508 is a future large family car that will replace the Peugeot 407 as well as the larger Peugeot 607, for which no more direct replacement is scheduled. It will share its platform and most engine options with the Citroën C5: the two cars will be produced alongside one another at the company's Rennes Plant.[1] The 508 is expected to be some 12cm (5 inches) longer than the current 407 which has been losing market share fast during 2008 and 2009.[2]
It it set to debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show as a concept. After a few initial leaked spyshots the first definitive details and images leaked to the web on July 12th 2010. [3]
